i was just watching the presidential debates…
either kerry was totally misinformed or just misrepresenting (read: lying) on the bush administration or bush was lying straight out.
regarding nuclear proliferation (kerryism) / weapons of mass destruction (bushism):
kerry stated the bush administration cut funding for the removal of nuclear materials from russia.
bush countered that they have actually INCREASED funding for it… by 35%!
kerry says the sanctions put on iran were done horribly wrong.
bush counters that it wasn’t his doing. the sanctions were put on place prior to him being in office.
and so on… i don’t know. personally, i trust kerry even less now.

Vic and I on http://www.deadparrots.net will be fact-checking each fact stated by the candidates in the debate (Vic, a Bush supporter, will be checking Kerry’s and I, a Kerry supporter, will be checking Bush’s).
We’ll also be providing a bit of context for each fact, since most context is stripped away (either because the debate format doesn’t allow for a lot of back story or because context might hurt the point of the fact user).
ahhh excellent.
i’m pretty sure when kerry would make a claim, it probably wasn’t exactly the same claim bush was shooting down. so… context would definitely be good.
